This site was created as a labor of love to patch together tips, notes and ideas on how to help myself live better – a commonplace book of sorts. If it helps you out as well then that is a bonus. 😀
We hired freelance authors to help out with some of the articles off the start, and then have patched in some of our years of notes and bookmarks and ideas based on past experiences and things we have read online that we saved notes on.
We frequently get asked something along the lines of “what is up with that logo.”
Truth is a logo designer had it online as a spare from a different project and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It has numerous subtle meanings…
- The bright and gaudy colors are a reminder of how we are all individualistic and unique in our own ways.
- I believe that if you die while keeping the happiness of a child with you throughout life (in spite of losing some of your innocence) then you have lived a good life.
- The crooked lettering is a reminder of the constant ebb and flow of life & how our goals change as our lives do.
- My wife and I have been trying to have a kid for a while now, so adding a child to our family is another life goal for us.
